Let's Trade!

Zynga released another update today! Oh I love when they do that, don't you? This one has fixed some issues with sea trading as well as given us some more cool features. First of all, here's how our boats look now when we're getting ready to sell items.

Now we have four slots, totally cool right? I agree. In this screenshot, you can see that the fourth slot is golden, this is the slot that is designated to your alliance (hence the flag in the corner).

When you send your boat out, it will look like this...

The items with the locked banner indicate that the item has not sold yet.

Once an item sells, the sold banner appears and when all items sell...your boat comes back INSTANTLY!! No more waiting for two hours or spending 2 crowns to bring it back. Looks like Zynga listened to their players with this one which means you should definitely give them your opinion on Suggestion Sundays if you want to see change! Have fun everyone!

Quick Spells 101

Let's talk about Quick Spells! They're great, aren't they? You can use them to speed up your resources like oats, milk, wool, lemons, and so on. I think they're a great addition to the game. I know all of you feel the same when it comes to waiting hours for a resource like lemons to finish when you can use quick spells and finish them instantly. Now, we all know the key for quick spells is friends. You need Facebook friends to get them, which is fine because there are tons of people who play this. The more, the merrier, right? Okay so I've seen screenshots floating around that look like this...

First of all, WHOA! Over 300 Quick Spells? Totally cool! But now I'm curious, how does this happen? Considering the amount of quick spells given shouldn't exceed 10, right? So what's the secret? How are players allowed or able to get more? Any ideas? Feel free to let us know!

Who? What? When?

Okay, so I have to admit, I'm getting bored. Before you jump to conclusions about the game play, I just want to be clear in saying that I have finished every quest, expanded all of the land, and own every resource and work shop. There isn't much for me to do at this point. If it wasn't for my awesome alliance, I honestly don't know if I'd continue to play. So, I'm curious, when will there be more? We already know that there are three sections (Hazel, Meryl, and Giovanni) that are still clouded over but no idea as to when they will be opening. I'm not the only one stuck in this boat. I'm hoping it's soon. My follow legends and I are growing rather impatient Zynga.

But I'm curious, if you could choose which land is going to open next, which one would it be? Hazel's area looks pretty cool, judging by the Places of Legend that peek through the clouds but I'm really curious about Meryl's area. Not only it is bigger than the others but something about the "shifting sands" sounds really...mysterious, wouldn't you say? I think so. Tell me what you think! ;)

Avast! Pym has arrived!

So at last, the sea captain has arrived! Not only did he come with a new quest but he also found his love, Ula the River Maid! Congrats to those who guessed right! Of course, being the romantic person that I am, I can agree that they make the perfect fit!

As for the quest, it's similar to the Kris Kringle quest and others that we've done in the past. Also, hold on to your forest charms, I have a feeling those are going to scarce really soon!

The first part starts with berry-picking gloves, lightfoot oatmeal, and lightfoot cheese, all of which use the special ingredient lightfoot berries that can be found at the Places of Legend using our trusty captain Pym! In doing so, you'll be rewarded with 8,000 coins, not too bad if you ask me.

For the second phase, you'll need carrot cake, eggs, wool, and clovers. Once completed, you get another sheep pasture!

For the third and final phase, you'll need opals, emeralds, stardust, and sunstones which are found in the Dragon Ruin, using the Captain Pym. I've also been told that you can find them at the Butterfly Oracle, which only takes an hour.

Oh yeah and remember the mysterious pink "sunstone" things that everyone was talking about? Well they're now in full form!

 Have fun and Good Luck!
