Rumor has it...

Before I get into detail, I just want to say that you shouldn't believe everything you hear. When asking for advice about your game, make sure the advice given is accurate before you make any adjustments. I was reading through the complaints on Zynga's website when I came across one in particular that really bugged me. Someone was having trouble with their game and was told by someone else that they needed to reset their game and it will work again...wrong! Resetting your game will literally reset your progress. All of your content including your level will be deleted and you will have to start over. For someone to tell another person that, they're either cold-hearted (possible) or clueless (even more possible). Let's just assume it's the latter of the two. I've read more comments pertaining to pearls and whether or not players should continue to get them. Other players commented back telling them "no"...wrong! If you have every possible hero that you can get with pearls, don't stop, keep working for them. I think Zynga made it obvious that the pearls are still useful when they released the last heroes (Willow and Clover). Besides, filling Liang's orders helps you gain XP as well. So be careful Folks! Not everything you hear is true. Worst case scenario, take it up with Zynga. You might have to wait a little longer for a response but it's better to be safe than sorry!

Eh, What's Up Doc?

How are all of you feeling about the carrots? Since they've added this new resource, they're all I see in the marketplace. I've even had dreams about them...just kidding! Do you think Zynga may have added too many carrot items? Let's see, we have carrot oat bars, carrot pancakes, honey-glazed carrots, carrot trail snacks, carrot cake, carrot bread, lemon carrot jam, coconut carrot bread, snappy carrot elixirs, mandrake carrot elixirs, enchanted carrot juice, stardust carrot potions, and carrot apple salad. Am I missing anything? Phew! Maybe it's worth investing in another carrot patch, wouldn't you say? I KNOW that you've all seen the marketplace flooded with carrot oat bars, trust me there's definitely no shortage of those now and I've also noticed the over abundance of midas gloves. Opals were the scarce item last week but now that'll be replaced by stardust and stardust lanterns. So make sure you stock up! There's seven days left in this stage and then what's next? Emeralds? Forest charms? What do you think?

Now That's Just Weird! - UPDATED!

Have you ever been playing the game and came across the unknown? Maybe a mysterious item you've never seen before? I have and I want to share them with you.

First of all, this is the second time I've come across this...thing. Take a look!

What the...!? Can anyone explain what this might be? As far as I know, I have everything I can possibly gain at this point in the game. But it's telling me to level up? Curiouser and curiouser.

Okay, the next mysterious item is...

Hmm...it looks like an ice cream of some sort but it can't be made anywhere. I have won this item from the Wheel of Wishes once and when I went to check it out in my vault, it was gone. Any explanations?

I spy with my little eye something...pink?

Now what in the world is that? Clearly it says "Sunstone" but isn't exactly what you'd think a sunstone would look like. Apparently, you can find this thing when you send Yvette, Bayoo, Buttercup, Greenleaf, or Bluebelle to Fairy Falls if you use a PC to play the game.

I'm very interested to know what the items are and/or if they will make a permanent appearance in the future. If you come across anything out of the ordinary, send me a screenshot and I'll be happy to post it on here! Maybe we'll find some answers once and for all!

Happy Easter!

Like the previous quests with Kris Kringle and Cupid, players have a chance complete the Easter quests to gain Iris, the adorable, new baby dragon as well as treasure and bunnies! How exciting is this? I'm thrilled so I know you have to be too! Another new asset is carrots. These are used to help make the carrot oat bars needed for the quest. You'll also need Mystic Tulips which can be found when sending Yvette to explore the places of legend. I prefer to send her to the Ancient Watchtower, even though the chances of getting the tulips are low, it only takes 3 minutes and one torch each time. The last thing you'll need is golden apples. Make sure you hold on to your midas gloves folks, I have a feeling they're going to be extra hard to find! Be sure to place the nest on your land to start the quest. Upon tapping or clicking on it, you'll find the requirements needed. Have fun and Good Luck!!

Aww, isn't it cute? :)

It's Time for a Change!

So if you pay attention to Castleville Legend's official blog, you'll know that they take suggestions from players every Sunday. During this time, players can voice their opinions about any changes they'd like see happen in the game. I've read it a few times and I have to agree with most of them. One the most common suggestions I see is changing the prices for plots of land. I agree 100%. The most I saw for one spot was 550,000...seriously? That's a bit pricey, don't you think? Maybe players would be happier if the little squares weren't as expensive. Ok, second suggestion I've seen is adding more space. Have you ever opened a plot of land only to find that there is a rock in the middle, making it impossible to put anything there? Yeah, that's definitely a problem. Removing some of the "nonsense" would be great! The last suggestion (one I feel strongly about) that I'm going to mention is allowing one's ship to come back after the items have sold. Waiting two hours for your ship to come back even after everything sold on it is kind of annoying, especially when you don't have any crowns and want to help people out in your alliance. These suggestions are some of the more common ones I've seen and I'm sure there are plenty more. If you have a suggestion, let the peeps at Zynga know! Get your voice out there, it's the only way to make a change!
